If you are reading this, you probably live with, or are concerned about, a young person who is experiencing or has experienced challenges that are making it difficult for them to live to their full potential. These challenges could include bereavement, parental separation, suspension from school or poor mental health.

At The Regulation Station, we believe that parents, carers, and professionals play a vital role, and that meaningful collaboration is key to achieving lasting improvements in a young person’s education, health, self-esteem, and future opportunities.

Parents:

  • Our Family Engagement Workers are available to support the partnership between TRS and home by:

  • ​

  • engaging parents/carers with assessment and intervention processes

  • encouraging parent/carer participation in self-regulation skills training

  • Empowering parents/carers to be actively involved in their child’s learning experience. 

  • promoting supportive conversations between professionals and parents/carers

  • listening to, learning from and co-working with parents/carers to improve long-term outcomes for them and their child
