At DBT Children Educational Services, we are committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and empowering environment for every young person who walks through our doors. Our team is made up of dedicated educators, practitioners, and therapeutic professionals who share a passion for helping children thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.


We believe in compassionate leadership, positive relationships, and the belief that every child has the potential to succeed when given the right support, understanding, and opportunities.

Senior Leadership Team

Jackie Brooks

Founder and Managing Director

​

Hi there. I have worked for over 32 years with vulnerable children, young people and their families across the education and social care sectors. I am deeply passionate about changing the lives of children and young people who find school and life challenging.

​

I am a Qualified Teacher of Learning and Skills (QTLS), SENCo, behaviour and inclusion specialist, trained in counselling skills, and hold a BPS Level 7 Qualified Educational Test User award. Outside of TRS, you might find me reading, cooking, watching films or spending time with my goddaughters.

Emily Roberts

Hi! I’m Emily. I have taught in primary schools since 2016 across all key stages. I’m passionate about children’s wellbeing and development as whole people rather than solely focusing on curriculum outcomes, which inspired me to join The Regulation Station.

​

I believe all young people should be supported to become emotionally intelligent, confident individuals with positive, healthy relationships. Although I mainly teach Key Stage 2 here, I also support students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
Outside of school, I enjoy visiting friends, listening to music and dreaming about travelling!

Nerhys Richards

One of the main reasons I joined The Regulation Station is my passion for helping people. I recently completed my master's in psychology, which strengthened my desire to become a therapist.

​

I have experience volunteering in local alternative provision, where I worked closely with children and young people who needed extra support. This helped develop my confidence, compassion and understanding of the challenges many children face.

​

Theresa Hirsh

I trained and qualified as a solicitor in the City of London and now look forward to bringing my transferable professional skills into the education sector to make a positive difference.

​

As a mother, my instinct is to nurture, support and inspire. I am deeply committed to contributing to children’s journeys as they navigate school, life and their personal goals.
I love music and fashion, and I am also a qualified gymnastics coach who enjoys training with my local club.

Tracey King

I joined the Regulation Station because of my strong passion for helping people. Last year, I completed my master's in psychology, which confirmed my desire to become a therapist.

​

I have volunteered in a local alternative provision, supporting children with complex needs and helping them develop emotional resilience. This experience strengthened my commitment to working therapeutically with young people.
